چکیده

Abstract. With this paper, we aim to raise awareness of the challenges generational transition in German nuclear industry. We present potential solutions for transferring and preserving knowledge future. For approximately 60 years, Germany has operated facilities successfully safely. phased out peaceful use energy 2023 by shutting down last three power plants. At same time, a shift is imminent within next 5–10 as significant number knowledgeable experts will be retiring. Simultaneously, first “fully digitalized” Generation Z, whose learning methods preferences differ significantly from previous generation (see Fig. 1), enter job market (McKinsey & Company et al., 2018). How Generations Think: Research on Generation Z

The relationship between current generations and the ones that grow up has always been ambivalent . There are a lot of motivations behind the criticism such as threats, envy or simply pride in the fantastic achievements of a generation, but lack of knowledge might be an explanation as well. The environment including the scientific-technical conditions and cultural-economic relations which surro...

Knowledge transfer dynamics: how to model knowledge in the first place?

In this paper, we study both processes of direct and indirect knowledge transfer, from a modelling perspective, using agent-based models. In fact, there are several ways to model knowledge. We choose to study three different representations, and try to determine which one allows to better capture the dynamics of knowledge diffusion within a social network. Results show that when knowledge is mo...
